Utopia, obsolescence, anachronisms, these are the ideas I explore through the buildings that the architecture of the past 80 years has left to us. Even if they have been constructed recently, these buildings reflect past eras and a past future, paradoxically. Trivialised as much as criticized, these buildings remain doorways to an imaginary history, which grows with the passage of time. It is this characteristic that is explored here, with an approach which swings between shock and fascination. Supplementary notes and references here.
